Office hours: After/before the class and by appointment. Course description: This is an intermediate macroeconomics course. Continuing on the concepts developed in the introductory economics courses you will be gradually introduced to specific details of economic models used in macroeconomics. Special attention will be paid to current developments in the field. Textbook: Stephen N. Williamson “Macroeconomics” 2E ISBN: 0-321-24093-6 Exams: There will be two midterm examinations and one final examination. Midterms are scheduled for the 29^th of September and the 3^rd of November. Final examination date will be announced in due course.
Grade structure: Midterms – 2x15% Final – 40% In class quizzes – 15% Problem sets – 15%	There will be several problem sets given throughout the semester. You are encouraged to work in groups while you should submit your own work only. Late submission of any due work will have a penalty of 20% for each late day. Final exam will be cumulative.
